Reasons we don't recommend carpet shampooers After you buy or rent a personal use carpet shampooer and use the recommended soap/detergent, your carpets might appear to have come clean. Unfortunately, you have to wait out the long (sometimes several days) drying process to see the full results of your efforts. Extra unfortunately, those results never seem to last more than a few days, and those pesky spots and stains have seem to come back worse than before!

WHY IS THAT?!

There's a lot playing into this common carpet cleaning cycle, but most of it can be blamed on the use of soap and the aggressive beater-bar style machine.
