Outdoor Faucets
1/4/2021 (Permalink)
One of the leading causes of water damage in the Spring, aside from the weather of course, is outdoor faucets.
CHECK FOR LEAKS
The best way to check for leaks, is to have one person stand outside to turn the water on, and have a second person observe the pipe inside the home.
IF YOU NOTICE A LEAK
Be sure to turn the water off at the outdoor faucet, as well as your indoor water mane, and call a plumber.
The pipes leading to your outdoor faucets can freeze and burst in the winter but, because the water is off, you won't notice these breaks until the spring. If you discover a burst pipe, or a leak that has gotten out of hand, we are available 24/7 to take your call.
