Midland Flood 2020
6/1/2020 (Permalink)
Thousands of Michiganders have been evacuated and relocated between May 18th and May 21st.
Water breached the Edenville and Sanford dams -- which normally contain the Tittabawassee River to create two separate lakes -- gave way north of Midland on Tuesday, May 19th after days of heavy rain.
This is was a particularly difficult time to relocate thousands of Michiganders from their homes, as the "Shelter-at-home"order was still in place.
SERVPRO was able to send storm relief crews to help with the initial clean up after the water started to recede.
